As anyone who has spoken to me in the past two weeks knows, the best movie I watched over break was “Pearl Jam 20.” BY FAR. I just watched it again this weekend on Netflix Instant. You guys, this movie got me feeling emotions (deeper than I’ve ever huhnuh). It also didn’t hurt that my sister and her roommates were obsessed with the movie, and we spent New Year’s weekend talking about Pearl Jam, listening to Pearl Jam and watching “Pearl Jam 20.” Suffice it to say, I’m having a serious Eddie Vedder moment. But also a serious Chris Cornell moment. I really can’t decide who was more attractive in 1991. I’m leaning Cornell. But unnfff 1991 Eddie Vedder can get it. Can Cameron Crowe make me a “Soundgarden 20” pleeeeeaaaasessssssseeee!!! “G n’ R 20”? More! Anything! I am ashamed to admit that Temple of the Dog was a new discovery for me via this film, and now I think “Hunger Strike” is my favorite song (except that cover of “Nothing Else Matters” by Lissie that was on Revenge the other night, oh and all Jackie Chain jams, so all of those things, really).

So the point of this post I guess is just to say that I’m really into Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam and “Pearl Jam 20.” Cool story, bro.

PS- You can just go ahead and assume that the Eddie Vedder sketch on Portlandia caused my head to explode in the best way possible.
